Easter
We started off the month of April by going to Allen, Nebraska for the Boswell family Easter gathering. Aunt Kate had lots of eggs and had the "big boys" take them to the park and hide them for the little ones. Claire and Isaiah had a great time finding them all, even though it was really hot that day! Even Andy got in on the fun while we were at the park! :-)
Then later Uncle Larry took us out to the farm and the kids got to feed the llamas and sheep and look around at all the big tires and tractors!
Mom came to our house this year to dye Easter eggs (since we have the nice long counter!) We dyed the eggs different colors, added stickers, and tried to put on the shrink wrap thingys....next year we need to buy smaller eggs if we want to use those!
On Easter Sunday we went to church in Sutton and then the kids did an egg hunt in Grandma and Grandpa's back yard. The eggs had candy....and money in them!
Go Big Red (and White)!
We all got dressed up and excited to go to the spring game this year. Isaiah had gotten his Husker jersey for his birthday and I had gotten one for Christmas that we were both thrilled to wear them! Unfortunatley, the game got cancelled for the first time in history! Isaiah was upset, but we got to spend some time playing at Andy's office instead while we waited out the storms!
Claire Turns 2!!
Claire turned 2 this year and had a Minnie Mouse party to celebrate. Some of her friends came to help her celebrate including Everett and Catie! I made a Minnie Mouse cake and Minnie Mouse cake pops! This time they were a bigger hit with the kids because they were lemon! The kids played outside and Claire got lots of great presents!
I had Minnie Mouse bows made for Claire, as well! A parent at my school makes these fantastic bows in many different styles! Check her out on facebook if you want some!
