Star Wars: The Force Awakens

We went to the new Star Wars movie at the beginning of the month.  Isaiah had been looking forward  to seeing it for over a year.  The kids had prepared by watching all six movies and asked lots of questions along the way!  Mark got us tickets in the dream loungers at the Grand Theatre so we watched it in style...for only $5 a ticket!  Isaiah insisted on wearing his Vader costume because he was certain the "skull" of Darth Vader was in the movie.  Turns out he was right!  Afterwards we went to eat for Andy and my's birthdays at Hiro 88.  It was great family time!

         

    

Here's to 2016!

Happy New Year!  This year I am going to try something new....blog the story of our lives!  My wonderful relative, JJ McKenzie told me about how she blogs to detail the events in their life, especially the lives of their children.  With 2016 bringing another Unterseher baby into the world, I thought I would give it a try!  So, here's my first post and hopefully I do a decent job of keeping up with it throughout the year!

This year was the first New Year's Eve that we had the kids with us and let them stay up until the stroke of midnight.  We celebrated at a friend's house with the adults upstairs and the kids in the basement.  We watched some football and play some Cards Against Humanity in the adult zone while the kids created a disaster in the basement consisting of Legos, darts and guns, and many other toys!  We toasted a couple times and consumed LOTS of food!  A good time was had by all!



Steve was explaining to the kids, as their waiter, what they were going to be drinking this evening!!
