Duct Tape Saves the Day!
Okay, so really, it saved the night, but that's not as catchy!:-) Isaiah has been wetting through his diapers at night, so I bought size 4's to put on him to prevent that. Well, every morning, now, he wakes up and has torn the right side velcro away from the back and the entire saturated diaper is wading around his left leg! Needless to say, that didn't work either! So, I decided to try duct tape! For the last two nights I've put duct tape around the front of his diaper, and it's stayed on! So I guess duct tape really can fix anything!!:-)

Chicken Pox?!?
On Good Friday I didn't have school and decided to meet mom and dad for lunch. They had doctor appointments and I needed to pay our doctor bill, so I just met them at the doctor's office. On Thursday we noticed Isaiah had some spots on his face. I thought they might be bug bites fromt he park on Wednesday, but showed to my dad to get his opinion. Since we were already at the doctor's office I asked if she could see him. When she saw him, she checked to see when he got his vaccination shot and then saw the big welt where he had gotten the shot in his right leg and informed me that it was chicken pox!! About 15% of kids get the chicken pox from the shot....and of course Isaiah was in that 15%!! So, needless to say, Isaiah stayed home for Easter, but we still had a very nice weekend!

A Day at the Park!
We took Isaiah to Antelope Park tonight after supper. He wasn't into the swing much, as he didn't get to move! We just set him down on the ground and he walk around the whole time we were there. He went up and down the ramps on the equipment and only fell once! A couple times he got going pretty fast on the downhill slope, but kept his balance! I know this summer is going to be alot of fun going to the park, the zoo, and the children's museum!

Birthday Party
We had Isaiah's bday party last weekend. Stacey and Kaci came on Friday to help decorate his cake, but unfortunately Isaiah got sick in the morning! We had driven to Gretna to the Carter Outlet store and Isaiah threw up there! So Stacey and Kaci ended up going home so Kaci wouldn't get sick. So I had to decorate the cake and cupcakes all by myself. We decieded to go ahead and have Isaiah's party since Brady had come home for it, we just called everyone and warned them he had been sick. By 2pm on Saturday he was feeling better, although still clingy. It was a pretty good day, considering everything Isaiah'd been through!
