Doctor's Visit

We went to Isaiah's one year check-up yesterday and had quite an eventful time! His appointment was at 3:15 and we didn't leave until about 5:15. It took a while to get in and see the doctor, but then as the phlebotomist came in to draw his blood, we heard the tornado sirens going off. So we had to go into the stairwell and take cover for about 15 minutes! Good thing Isaiah's a great kids and had no trouble entertaining the ladies from the offices in the building! After we were okayed to come out of the stairwell, Isaiah had to have his blood drawn and have 5 shots, but he handled it all very well. He weighed in at 18 lbs. even and was 29 inches long. This puts him in the 25% for height and below the 5% for weight. Dr. Baugous was actually surprised at his weight and said he looks fine and showed no concern. I promised her that we feed him well! We go back in three months so hopefully he can pack on a little weight before then and be in a satisfactory percentange!

I'm 1 Year Old!!

Isaiah turned 1 on Monday, March 16th. We didn't have too much time to celebrate since I had volleyball at 6:30, but we gave him a cupcake with a candle. He poked at it at first and then just picked up the whole thing and tried to shove it in his mouth! It was hilarious! We will have his birthday party on the 28th, since mommy is busy this weekend. Hopefully he's as entertaining for his party!

I Wanna Be Like Mike

For Christmas Nolan and Brady got Isaiah a pair of Nike Air Jordan basketball shoes. They were a bit to large for him then, but yesterday he wore them for the first time, and they were ADORABLE!! When I first put them on he wouldn't walk or crawl. He just sat there and cried!! :-) I picked him up and carried him around while I got stuff ready. I would put him down periodically and he would burst into tears and kinda kick his feet. By the time I got him out of his carseat at Lynette's he was already accustom to them.

Weeeeee!

As I was taking Isaiah's clothes off tonight for a bath, he peed all over me! That's not even the funny part. After he did it....he laughed!!

Birthing Class Reunion

We got together today with the people from our birthing class to see how all of our kids have grown. It was fun! It was nice to talk to other parents with kids almost the exact same age as Isaiah. We wanted to take a picture of all the kids together. We decided to try it on the couch, and they actually sat really well for it! That is, until Micah and Ralph started touching Chloe's face!
