Watch out World!
Well, Isaiah is officially walking! He thinks he's pretty cool when he walks across the room. He usually doesn't make it all the way across without falling, but he doesn't give up! He stands back up and continues going! He looks so funny, since he's so little and toddling around!

11 Months!

So Isaiah turned 11 months yesterday! He's finally healthy, we hope for a while! Although he's still having some trouble sleeping through the night again! He is now able to stand without holding onto anything, and thinks he's pretty cool when he does. He will then take 3-4 steps to get to the closest piece of furniture! It's fun just to watch him explore and try new things. He loves bananas and cheerios and likes to turn off the lights! I can't believe we're planning his birthday party already, but can't wait for everyone to see him at this stage in his development!

My First Balloon!
We went to eat with my family for Valentines day on Thursday at Applebee's and Isaiah spotted a balloon that another little boy had. He became obsessed with it and so, of course, grandma had to get him one of his own! It turned out to be a great toy for a couple days!

Here we throw again
We just can't seem to keep Isaiah well for longer than a month! Starting last Tuesday, Isaiah came home from daycare because he had thrown up. We kept him home on Wednesday. He seemed better and was in good spirits. At supper we were at Lanny and Beth's and he threw up on his supper tray. We thought maybe it was a fluke, so we sent him to daycare on Thursday. However, Thursday morning I started to not feel well and went home early from school. When I went to pick Isaiah up from Lynette's in the afternoon, she informed me that he had thrown up again on the way home from school and had had diarrhea. So once again he stayed home on Friday. It was good for me to stay home and continue to recouperate, but I was sad to miss the 100th day of school.
I took Isaiah to the doctor and he had lost almost 5% of his body weight. The doctor said it was a gastrointestinal infection and to feed him in small amounts and try to get him to drink diluted gatorade, which i bought on the way home. Isaiah, of course, wouldn't drink it like he wouldn't drink the pedialyte. We ended up calling the doctor that night and she said to try jello, juice, and applesauce. The only thing Isaiah would try was the applesauce, so we watered it down with juice. But then he ended up throwing that up before he went to bed. We called the doctor back, again, and she said to bring him in again. By morning he had nursed twice and had kept that down and had gained back a few ounces. She said as long as he was staying hydrated that it would pass.
He threw up one last time Saturday night and then we thought we were on the road to recovery as he didn't throw up on Sunday at all. We sent him back to daycare today and went on our way to work thinking all was well. At 11:00 I got a call from Lynette, now, not only did he throw up again, but he now had a fever!!! AAAAAAAWWWW!!!! I called the doctor and they said the same thing as Saturday, just make sure he's hydrated. I didn't know how badly I could feel for another person until I became a mom! My heart just aches for him and I just pray that this passes soon!

Super Bowl

Okay, so I know I'm a little late in posting this, but read the next post and you'll see why! For Isaiah's first Super Bowl, The Steelers vs. The Cardinals, we went to Dawn and Chadd Bice's. It was a lot of fun hanging out with friends, and there were A LOT of kids there! Isaiah tried sloppy joes for the first time and loved it! He also slyly stole a piece of rice krispy bar from Carson! Cathy was the most popular mom of the hour, though, because she had puffs and was serving them in the living room!

Kaci's Bday!

We went back to Sutton on Saturday for Kaci's birthday party. Isaiah was very helpful opening and playing with her new toys. They had a lot of fun playing together. They both really liked the baby doll bottle and fought over it a few times! She got a Radio Flyer wagon and we captured a couple adorable pictures of them together. After the party we went and ate supper at Hunans...and rode in Jon and Stacey's new minivan!! It was fun to all ride together. I can't wait to get ours! Until then, we'll have to take trips in the Yostmobile!
