New Daycare
We started sending Isaiah to a new daycare last week. We had a meeting with the old daycare on Monday and found out that he has been crying all day, every day there for the past two months! I was pretty upset that we were just finding that out! The director said she'd observed him and she thinks there's just too much going on there for Isaiah to be happy, which I agree with. I think there were just too many kids and Isaiah wasn't getting the attention he needed. So that day I called Lynette and we went over to meet with her that evening and he started the next day! He had an awesome week and hardly cried at all!! There is only one other baby there during the day and four or five school aged kids before and after school. We're very excited to have found such great care at such short notice!!:-)

Wow! My baby is 10 months!

Ten months! Can't believe it! We went to the doctor today because of some issues at daycare and he has a mild ear infection, so we got an antibiotic and hopefully can clear that up. But he weighed 17lbs. 9oz. Isaiah is eating mostly table food at home now, but still eats "baby food" while at daycare. And of course, he LOVES his cheerios!!

New food!

Isaiah ate a meal completely of table food last night! We made tacos so he ate the meat (with no seasoning) and rice. And then we had bought some fruit cocktail, which he loved and he even ate a few pieces of carrots! He made quite a mess on his tray, but it was fun just watching him eat, and not feeding him!:-)

Christmas!

Isaiah's first Christmas was a blast! He didn't really get to concept of opening presents, but loved all the new toys he got! We got to spend some time with each side of both of our families and our immediate families. Isaiah was as good as gold for all! We spent the weekend before Christmas with my parents, brother, and sister-in-law. He favorite present was, of course, the Lion (see below!) On Christmas Eve we went to Sutton to be with the Johnson's. Isaiah's favorite present there was a wooden puzzles from Great-Grandma Johnson. It has knobs that are great to suck on! On Christmas morning we opened gifts with Andy's parents and brothers. Isaiah got a pair of Air Jordans from his uncles! In the afternoon we went to Aurora to be with the Boswell's. Isaiah got a really cool book with animals that move! It's called a scanimation. Then on Saturday we went back to my parent's house to see all the Teetor's. Isaiah had a ball watching Ryan and Ethan play. And then on Sunday we went to Geneva to celebrate with the Unterseher's. It was the first time Cooper and Isaiah met and they seemed to enjoy each other...or at least not to dislike one another! We obviously had a very busy holiday season, but we enjoyed each minute of it! Next year should bring even more joys and surprises!
